2024-2025 Analytic Candidates
CG Jung Institute Candidate Process Group Sept 2024 – May 2025
Sept 26, Oct 31, Nov 21, Jan 2, Feb 6, Mar 6, Apr 3, May 1
3 PM – 5 PM
The purpose of this group is to provide candidates an opportunity to explore and reflect upon their training experience in a confidential setting. The intention is to co-create a culture of trust, openness, non-judgmental feedback, cohesiveness, curiosity, reflectiveness and encouragement in an environment of safety and privacy. The creation of an effective group environment can reduce stress as well as provide a container for the alchemical heat that arises during the initiatory process of analytic training.
Monthly group meetings are envisioned as a safe base from which candidates may deeply explore the ways in which training is affecting their relationship to their cohort, the larger community, and their work with clients. Personal therapy is not the focus of this group, but the process may lead to personal discoveries that may be explored further in other settings including individual analysis. The process group will be facilitated by an outside consultant with many years of experience consulting to groups and individuals in both clinical and organizational settings.

BECOME A TRAUMATIC INCIDENT REDUCTION FACILITATOR
TRAUMATIC INCIDENT REDUCTION (TIR): A Highly Efficient and Effective Trauma Specific Treatment
Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) is a safe, simple technique for permanently reducing or eliminating the effects of traumatic events. TIR provides the opportunity to consciously inspect and resolve traumatic material in a structured, safe environment. As a person-centered method, the areas for exploration are chosen by the client, and pursued at a comfortable self-determined pace. A TIR session has no fixed length. Often, trauma symptoms (PTSD, anxiety, and depression) can be cleared in approximately 25 hours (two sessions per week). After the 4 day training, participants will be able to facilitate trauma sessions!
